Believe in Miracles
For those of you who have been wondering where I have been....last Wednesday we got the call! A perfect match for Lindsey....the world turned upside down.
Lindsey's lung transplant was performed Wednesday night. Everything is happening so fast. Our lives are a crazy roller coaster of anxiety and hospital visits...joy and hope for Lindsey.... grief for the donor's family...exhaustion.
Lindsey is doing so well. For the first time in six months she is not using oxygen. She is already hard at work building up her strength, walking and doing breathing exercises. I am praying she will be able to go home in time for Mother's Day. Seeing this change in her is proof that miracles happen!
